This research paper provides an overview of various cloud computing models, including various types of cloud environments like Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, and Community Cloud. It also delves into the Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS) models. The security issues associated with cloud computing, such as compromised credentials, data breaches, hacked interfaces and APIs, exploited system vulnerabilities, and account hijacking, are discussed in detail. The document emphasises the importance of understanding and mitigating these security risks to ensure the robustness and integrity of cloud computing environments. Cloud Computing has become one of the hottest topics in the IT industry. The cloud model of computing as a resource has changed the computing landscape as its promises of increased reliability, massive scalability, and decreased costs have attracted businesses and individuals. It adds capabilities to Information Technology’s. Over the last few years, cloud computing has grown considerably in Information Technology. As more and more information about individuals and companies is placed in the cloud, there is a growing concern about the safety of information. Many Companies in the software industry like Microsoft are joining to develop Cloud services. Despite the hype about the cloud, customers are reluctant to deploy their business in the cloud. Security issues are one of the biggest concerns affecting the growth of cloud computing.
