How to do safe and shorter transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) inguinal hernia repair

Using pneumodissection in TAPP, we found it easier to confirm the inguinal anatomy and dissect the preperitoneal layer and inguinal floor, with less bleeding. The mean operative time was 72 min during 27 procedures, and there were no perioperative complications and minimal pain.
