The New Liberal Arts, as an interdisciplinary educational model, offers a fresh perspective for nurturing individuals with innovative thinking and practical skills.This study focuses on the talent cultivation system in science education within the context of the New Liberal Arts.It delves into an in-depth exploration of the current status, challenges, and potential reform paths in the field of science education through literature review and case analysis.It has been found that interdisciplinary integration, innovative thinking, and the cultivation of practical abilities, which are inherent features of the New Liberal Arts, align closely with the educational objectives of science education programs.Therefore, science education needs to shift its educational philosophy to place greater emphasis on skill development rather than solely on knowledge transmission.Simultaneously, there is a need for innovation in teaching methods and evaluation mechanisms to support the sustainable development of science education programs.
