Development of leisure tourism in China is very fast. In this paper, we study the development of Chinese sports tourism fair and the number of research papers on sports tourism in China by using the method of documentary and mathematical statistics, and study the course of sports tourism in China's colleges and universities to analyze the current situation of sports tourism research. The research results show that the development of sports tourism resources has not been fully developed.
