Coinage-Metal Nanoclusters Article number 2301256 by Sudipta Roy and co-workers brings the first example of cyclic alkyl(amino) carbene (cAAC)-supported mono-atomic phosphorus anion being utilized as excellent stabilizing ligand for the solid-state isolation of atomically precise, redox-active Cu(I)8, Ag(I)7, and Ag(I)5 clusters exhibiting thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF). Moreover, the redox-active Cu(I)8 cluster shows its potential application as unprecedented photo-redox catalyst in the presence of blue LED for diastereosective cyclopropanation of substituted indoles and styrenes in excellent yields under ambient reaction condition.
