The article reveals the theoretical aspects of didactic provision of information technologies for learning in the educational space of Ukraine. The article focuses on the use of IT in educational institutions, their use in the educational process, an overview of IT used in higher education institutions, didactic principles and conditions for the use of IT in educational systems. It is proposed to consider learning technology as a new methodology, and to understand IT as a modern technology of general pedagogical, psychological and didactic procedures of interaction between teachers and students, taking into account software, technical and human resources. The comprehensive application of computer tools in IT is considered; issues of management of students' cognitive activity when using IT and the structure of management of the learning process, where the object of management is the information-technological process, are considered. The most important task of students' education is the formation of their abilities to solve professional tasks taking into account the use of information technologies. And for this, it is necessary to create an appropriate infrastructure and educational and methodological base for the use of IT in an educational institution, and didactic provision of IT in professional education is necessary. Speaking about the introduction of educational information technologies (IT) into the educational process, it is natural to assume that the relevant technologies do not become some superstructure to the existing education system, but are reasonably and harmoniously integrated into the educational process, providing new opportunities for both teachers and those who studies Any actions regarding changes in the educational process related to the introduction of IT should be done taking into account the fact that each educational discipline, cycle or module is part of a large system.
