This study aims to analyze the application and effectiveness of information technology in secondary school physical education teaching. The research methodology adopted in this study is a mixed-method approach, including both quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative data were collected through surveys and achievement tests, while the qualitative data were obtained through classroom observations and interviews. The key findings of this study indicate that the application of information technology in physical education teaching has several positive effects. Based on these findings, the study concludes that the incorporation of information technology in secondary school physical education teaching has great potential to enhance the quality of instruction and improve students' learning experiences. Future research should continue investigating the long-term effects of information technology in physical education and exploring innovative approaches to maximize its benefits.
