Chronic Achilles Tendon Rupture in Diabetic Patients and its Reconstruction using a Modified Flexor Hallucis Longus FHL Tendon Transfer

The purpose of this study is to report the repair of insertional chronic rupture of Teno Achilles tendon in Diabetic patient with Strong Flexor Hallucis Longus tendon.Two patients presented with this after one to two months of rupture when they noticed that they can not walk much and there is swelling around ankle joint.Both the cases were treated with FHL tendon transfer.It is now 2 years and no complications are reported by patients.
