The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Temple with 13 children as research subjects. This research method uses classroom action research through the Kemmis and Mc.Taggar model through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Learning using SERUF (A Skirt of letters) media. The target achievement of classroom action research is 75%. In the pre-cycle the achievement rate is 45% and the first cycle the achievement rate is 56.3% by providing safety activities to train children's concentration and focus on these activities. Furthermore, after reflection and improvement of cycle II, the overall value of the child was 79.6%. The results of this study prove that learning activities with SERUF (A Skirt of letters) can improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years.
