The main objectives of the present study are to find out the relationship between school effectiveness and school culture among the school teachers; and also find out the significant difference between / among the sub groups of school teachers in their mean score of school effectiveness.The study was conducted through descriptive survey method of research.The population for the present study is the school teachers (N=802) who are working in various levels and categories of schools in Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu state.The researcher employed simple random sampling technique in this study.The study reveals that there is a significant difference in the mean score of school effectiveness between / among the various groups of school teachers with respect to level of school.The study also found that there is a significant positive correlation between school effectiveness and school culture among the school teachers.Hence, the school education department take the remedial measures to solve the differences among the school teachers and create school effectiveness like teacher characteristics, teaching competency, preparation and planning.classroom management and interpersonal relations among the school teachers for their effectiveness and performance.
