Last year, the 14th IEEE Energy Conversion Congress & Expo (ECCE 2023), which was held in the exciting music city Nashville, TN, USA from 29 October to 2 November, set new records in attendance and paper presentations. Besides the usual technical program with over 1000 presentations, the 14th ECCE delivered many new features, such as offering both industry-driven and application-oriented technical sessions, an all-female keynote opening session, a historic milestone for IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS), a major expansion in its exhibit hall programs and sponsorship opportunities, two-page late-breaking research papers in addition to their usual full-length papers, public outreach events and partnerships with local community organizations. Plus, subsidized daycare for attendee families.
