The purpose of this study is 1) To determine the effect of library material development on user satisfaction; 2) To determine the effect of librarian service quality on user satisfaction and 3) To determine the effect of library material development and librarian service quality together on user satisfaction. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative with a research population of 1,838 people and a sample of 95 people was determined using the Slovin formula. The results of data analysis show that 1) The value of library material development on user satisfaction obtained a calculated t value > t table, namely 12.020 > 1.985 and a calculated F value > F table, namely 144.482 > 2.36. Thus, there is a positive and significant influence between library material development on user satisfaction at the UPT IAKN Tarutung Library, namely 60.8%; 2) The value of the quality of librarian services on user satisfaction is tcount> ttable, namely 16.802> 1.985 and the value of Fcount> Ftable between 282.312> 2.36, thus it is known that there is a positive influence between the quality of librarian services on user satisfaction at the UPT IAKN Tarutung Library, namely 75.2%; 3) The value of library material development and the quality of librarian services on user satisfaction is obtained by the value of tcount> ttable, namely 9.041> 1.985 and the value of Fcount> Ftable, namely 175.834> 2.36, thus it is known that there is a positive influence between the quality of librarian services together on user satisfaction at the UPT IAKN Tarutung Library, namely 79.3%. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.
