The materials presented in the article are the initial stage of the research conducted as part of the preparation of the master's thesis on the topic "Development of proposals for the territorial development of oil and gas infrastructure in the context of strategic interaction between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Cameroon", performed at the State University of Land Management in the Department of Agricultural Production Management and Management under the program 38.04.02 Management, profile property management and sustainable development of territories. The relevance of the study is due to the developing interaction between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Cameroon (Order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated June 1, 2024 N 1378-r "On signing the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Cameroon on the establishment of the Intergovernmental Russian-Cameroon Commission on Economic, Trade and Scientific-Technical Cooperation".) The work used the methods of scientific systems analysis of available information on the subject of the study. The practical significance lies in the fact that the study is a starting point for further research, the development of proposals for the development of strategic interaction between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Cameroon and their assessment in sustainable development indicators.
