However, patients of Chinese-and more broadly East Asian-ethnicity with IDH wild-type glioblastoma exhibit a pronounced and robust survival advantage. This highlights the critical need to consider ancestral diversity in future glioma research to uncover biological mechanisms and improve patient outcomes.
