This dataset contains the primary research figures, tables, and supplementary materials associated with the study of Mycena citricolor, the causal agent of American Leaf Spot (ALS) in coffee. The collection includes high-resolution imagery and quantitative data documenting the fungal biology, infection process, and a virulence factor. Data under both, field conditions in Colombia and controlled laboratory and phytotron environments at CENICAFE. Key components of this repository include detailed visualizations of the M. citricolor infectious cycle—from gemmae adhesion to defoliation—and the characterization of reproductive structures such as gemmifer bodies and basidiocarps. Additionally, the dataset provides the experimental results for an enhanced high-virulence inoculum production methodology and the quantification of Oxalic Acid (OA) production in vitro. These resources are intended to support further research into pathogen diversity, disease management strategies, and the screening of coffee germplasm for resistance against this significant quarantine pest.
