Background: In order to enhance health outcomes, evidence-based practice (EBP) integrates professional competence, patient or family values, and the best available research data when making clinical decisions. Incorporating EBP in physical therapy (PT), including pediatric PT, is important. There is a rising interest in pediatric PT, and the lack of research on EBP in pediatric PT highlights the need for this study to synthesize the evidence available. Objectives: The objectives of the scoping review with scientometric analysis are (1) to synthesize the current state of EBP in pediatric PT, and (2) to determine the most important areas for future studies and translation to the professional practice. Methods: The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) Checklist will be adapted in the study. The scientometric analysis will be conducted using VOS viewer to construct and visualize EBP in pediatric PT. Studies from the following databases will be searched from inception to 30 September 2025: PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, PEDro, and Google Scholar. Expected Results: A synthesis of the data on EBP for pediatric PT, accompanied by visualization, will be presented.
