Digital heritage preservation in resource-limited environments poses unique challenges for cultural conservation. The Niger region exemplifies such contexts due to its geographical isolation and economic constraints. Theoretical synthesis of existing literature, combined with expert consultations from the Niger region and international scholars. A thematic analysis was conducted to identify commonalities and specific challenges. This framework provides a theoretical basis for understanding and implementing effective digital heritage preservation in Niger's resource-limited settings. Recommendations include developing localized training programmes and fostering partnerships between tech companies and local communities to ensure the sustainability of digital heritage projects.
