HRMARS - This study focuses on factors affecting the adoption of AI in Food and Beverage (F&B) departments of five-star hotels in Kuala Lumpur. As hotels focus more on the use of digital technologies to improve their efficiency and service quality, it has become essential to understand what drives AI adoption. This research focuses on three important determinants, namely: operational needs, cyber security and cost of implementation which are the independent variable and the dependent variable is AI adoption. Using quantitative research design, the use of standardized questionnaires were used for the distribution of the samples to the employees working in the F&B sector and caterings in selected 5-star hotels. Correlation and multiple regression studies were performed to assess the relationships and predictive impacts of those factors on AI technologies adoption in the F&B department.
