Software solutions for detecting and countering active network attacks on wireless ad hoc networks are analyzed. Requirements for the developed architecture of a software package for protecting wireless ad hoc networks from active network attacks are formulated. An architecture that meets the stated requirements is proposed. A software prototype implementing the proposed solution is developed and evaluated.
