The Lake Victoria region in South Sudan faces challenges in traditional fish farming practices due to environmental degradation and economic constraints. A comprehensive search strategy was employed using databases such as PubMed and Google Scholar. Studies were selected based on relevance to South Sudanese contexts and methodologies. The analysis revealed a significant trend towards the adoption of solar-powered irrigation systems (direction: increase) for enhancing water management in fish farming operations, contributing to sustainable practices. Integration of modern technologies with traditional techniques shows promise for improving economic outcomes while maintaining ecological balance in Lake Victoria fishing communities. Investment in research and development should focus on the scalability and cost-effectiveness of solar-powered solutions as a key intervention for future sustainability efforts. The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
