This article is devoted to the problems associated with the training and development of specialists in the field of adaptation to climate change. The main causes of the shortage of personnel in the field of environmental protection, nature management, sustainable development, and climate change adaptation are analyzed, and the need to apply an interdisciplinary approach to the training of such specialists is substantiated. One of the key issues considered in the article is the justification of the relevance of the increasing risks associated with climate change and their direct impact on the need to improve approaches to the development of personnel in the field of climate change adaptation.
