Senegal has faced multiple epidemics in recent years, highlighting the challenges of maintaining resilient health systems. A survey-based approach was employed to gather data from healthcare professionals and policymakers across different regions of Senegal. Senegalese health systems showed significant variability in their ability to respond to epidemics, with urban centers demonstrating higher resilience compared to rural areas. This study underscores the need for targeted interventions to enhance health system resilience in both urban and rural contexts. Specific recommendations include strengthening community-based healthcare networks and increasing investment in digital health infrastructure in underserved regions.
