Through nationwide statistical analysis, the relationship between cardiovascular disease and home environmental factors were discussed in this paper. A multi-level model to examine home environmental factors that affect mortality were applied to take into account the hierarchical nature of the data. As results, it is confirmed that factors such as the completion of house and the usage of highly insulated windows influenced mortality rates, and it is suggested that it is important to maintain an adequate indoor thermal environment.
