Although accommodation facilities have not been a major focus of Facility Management (FM) in Japan, the need to apply FM principles in this sector has been growing. To propose a framework for FM implementation in accommodation facilities, this study aims to clarify the FM strategies adopted by individual facilities and their outcomes, based on case studies of three hotel renovation projects. Through this analysis, the study identified how FM strategies were translated into specific FM goals, issues, and measures in each project, as well as the outcomes achieved and common factors that contributed to the successful implementation of FM.
