The conveyance method used in general factory production lines achieves conveyance by bringing the object to be conveyed into contact with the conveyance device. However, the contact conveyance method may cause friction and collisions, which may degrade the quality of the conveyed object. Non-contact conveyance is desirable to avoid degradation of product quality during conveyance. In this study, we constructed a conveying system using a multi-layered non-contact conveying system that simultaneously floats and conveys using air jets. To verify whether it is possible to control the transport position of the object to be transported, a step input was applied, position control was performed using PID control, and transport performance was evaluated.
