In the current context of diversified education and teaching, the traditional offline teaching model can no longer meet the current needs of college physics experiment education and teaching. In order to improve the verification of imaging results of optical systems, strengthen the research on imaging system simulation, and enhance the application and popularization of optical knowledge in real life for college students, this paper analyzes the imaging of complex optical systems through the basic theory of wave optics, and designs a Matlab simulation program to simulate the optical part of college physics experiments. Taking the simulation of microscopes, telescopes, and Young's double-slit interference as examples, this paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of current college physics experiment education and teaching compared to offline education and teaching, and proposes corresponding suggestions and recommendations for further promoting college physics simulation experiment teaching in the next step.
