Digital technologies represented by generative artificial intelligence are penetrating the field of higher education with unprecedented depth and breadth, triggering profound changes in the teaching of basic disciplines. This article focuses on the core basic course of “advanced mathematics”. In response to the core pain points that have long existed in traditional teaching, it proposes and demonstrates a new teaching reform paradigm centered on the deep integration of “human intelligence (HI) and artificial intelligence (AI)”. The solution is mainly based on three pillars: “new teaching ecosystem, human-machine integration path, and innovative application scenarios”. It systematically constructs a three-in-one integration path of “cognitive reconstruction - evaluation innovation - technology empowerment”, and combines cutting-edge practices such as “teacher – student - machine trinity interaction”, knowledge graphs, and innovative application scenarios. And it explores the paradigm transformation and path innovation of higher mathematics education in the artificial intelligence era. Research shows that AI-enabled mathematics education is not merely a simple accumulation of technologies, but rather a fundamental transformation from “knowledge imparting” to “thinking development and innovation ability cultivation” through the reconfiguration of teaching processes, the transformation of teachers’ roles, and the provision of precise learning support. This research aims to provide a systematic theoretical reference and practical application scheme for the teaching reform of advanced mathematics in the digital age.
