In the management of voice disorders, fiberscopy is considered the most common and useful tool for evaluation and diagnosis. We employed 3D-CT image reconstruction to develop a treatment plan and implemented voice therapy for a long-term tracheostomy case where the vocal mechanism remained unclear on fiberscopy. After 16 sessions of voice therapy, the subglottic cavity volume increased, airway resistance improved, maximum phonation time lengthened, and improvements were observed in self-assessments. 3D-CT image reconstruction enabled three-dimensional visualization of the airway structure, proving useful for treatment planning and verifying therapeutic effects.
