The translation of African literature for global audiences is a complex process fraught with challenges such as cultural differences, language barriers, and varying literary conventions. A qualitative research approach will be employed using interviews with translators and a content analysis of translated texts from the period -. The research identifies the need for a comprehensive training programme for translators alongside the development of guidelines specific to African literature translation. Developing a specialized glossary and conducting regular workshops on cultural sensitivity will be recommended as strategies to enhance the quality of translations.
