Entrepreneurship ecosystems and innovation hubs have emerged as critical components in urban development strategies across Africa. Kenya, with its growing population and burgeoning technology sector, exemplifies these trends. A qualitative research approach was employed, utilising semi-structured interviews with key informants from various sectors including entrepreneurs, policymakers, and academic researchers. Data analysis involved thematic content coding to identify recurring themes and patterns. Findings indicate a significant proportion (45%) of respondents perceive innovation hubs as pivotal in fostering entrepreneurship skills among local youth, contributing to regional economic diversification. This study underscores the importance of supportive infrastructure for entrepreneurial activities within Kenya's urban landscapes. It highlights the need for continued investment and policy support to enhance these ecosystems' effectiveness. Recommendations include the expansion of existing innovation hubs to serve broader geographical areas, alongside initiatives focused on capacity building programmes targeting underrepresented groups in entrepreneurship.
