Comparative Liquid Biopsy Testing for KRAS Mutations From Plasma Cell‐Free DNA ( cfDNA ) and Extracellular Vesicles in Lung Adenocarcinoma
Puntos clave
This study aims to compare the effectiveness of ddPCR testing of plasma cfDNA and extracellular vesicles for detecting KRAS mutations in lung adenocarcinoma.
Used ddPCR testing on plasma supernatant samples for KRAS mutation analysis.
Analyzed the abundance of KRAS in different plasma fractions.
Compared results to tumor KRAS mutation status.
Found high overall agreement between ddPCR results and tumor KRAS mutation status.
Detected varying levels of KRAS in different plasma fractions.
Resumen
We conclude that ddPCR testing of plasma supernatant achieved high overall agreement with tumour KRASmt status. There was varying abundance of KRAS detected in the plasma fractions.
