Urban youth in Dakar, Senegal are at risk of HIV/AIDS due to high-risk behaviors and limited access to healthcare. A mixed-methods approach involving surveys, clinical assessments, and qualitative interviews was employed to gather data from 1000 participants aged 15-24. Among the surveyed participants, 7. 3% tested positive for HIV/AIDS; a significant number of these individuals were not aware of their status prior to testing. The intervention study highlighted gaps in healthcare access and awareness among urban youth, necessitating targeted educational programmes and improved health services. Urban health authorities should prioritise outreach programmes focusing on young people's sexual education and provide more accessible HIV screening facilities. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
