E-learning platforms have gained traction as a tool for agricultural extension services in semi-arid regions of Ethiopia, which face significant challenges in accessing traditional training methods due to geographical and economic constraints. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews to gather data from a sample of 200 semi-arid farmers across four regions of Ethiopia. Quantitative analysis revealed that e-learning platforms significantly increased farmers' knowledge scores in agricultural practices by an average of 25%, while qualitative insights highlighted enhanced adoption rates of drought-resistant crop varieties (78% increase). This research underscores the potential of e-learning platforms to bridge knowledge gaps and improve agricultural productivity in semi-arid regions. Future studies should explore scalability and sustainability. Investment in infrastructure and digital literacy training for farmers is recommended alongside further development and refinement of e-learning platforms.
