Artificial intelligence has begun to be actively used in the fields of conflict management, analysis, and diplomacy. Particularly in complex and protracted conflicts, the analytical capacity and rapid decision-making capabilities offered by artificial intelligence technologies have the potential to increase the effectiveness of peace processes. This article adopts a conceptual, theory-informed design and uses the Georgia–Abkhazia conflict as a scenario-based illustrative case to ground the discussion in a concrete stakeholder environment and contested information ecosystem. Accordingly, the analysis develops conditional assessments of feasibility, oversight requirements, and misuse risks, rather than testing causal hypotheses through fieldwork or a systematic empirical dataset. Furthermore, the research analyzes the potential of artificial intelligence in conflict resolution as early warning systems, impartial mediation algorithms, and disinformation prevention tools, as well as issues of ethical and legal compliance, emphasizing the critical role of AI-based diplomacy models and data-driven decision-making mechanisms in conflict resolution.
