Abstract This systematic review identified how U.S. FCS professionals addressed social justice encompassing the period of racial and social unrest in 2020. Through FCS‐specific and non–FCS‐specific journals representing varied disciplines, foods/nutrition, health/wellness, and child development/family relations content areas in K‐12, college/university, community/extension, and clinical settings were most frequently represented. The review demonstrates the interdisciplinary nature of FCS through a wide variety of journals and both extensive topics and demographics/audiences. This review provides evidence of FCS professionals addressing social justice, offers strategies and ideas for implementing programs and projects, and offers guidance for advocacy and action.
