Cross-sectional comparative analysis of Alzheimer's disease burden across eight Latin American countries using a harmonized dataset. Argentina shows highest age-standardized prevalence (6.2% of population 60+). Mental health expenditure below 3% in 6 of 8 countries. Neurologist density ranges from 0.4 (Ecuador) to 3.5 (Argentina) per 100,000. Positive correlation between prevalence and healthcare infrastructure suggests underdiagnosis in low-capacity systems.
