Gastronomy tourism plays a significant role in urban regeneration by integrating cultural, economic, and spatial dimensions to support sustainable urban transformation. This study explores how gastronomy tourism influences urban renewal and contributes to revitalizing cities. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA protocol, the research analyzes peer-reviewed studies from the Web of Science database. The analysis identifies shared themes and keywords in gastronomy tourism and urban regeneration, focusing on their interconnected impact. Findings show that gastronomy tourism stimulates local economies, strengthens cultural identity, and fosters social cohesion. It revitalizes urban spaces by preserving local heritage, supporting community networks, and involving diverse stakeholders. The study highlights the need for greater academic attention to the intersection of gastronomy tourism and urban regeneration.
