India hosts one of the largest tribal populations globally, comprising 8.6% of the total population (1). Chronic kidney disease (CKD) emerged as a significant global public health concern. However, epidemiologic data among tribal population remain scarce. Understanding this, can guide preventive strategies and health policies. This study aimed to estimate the prevalence and characteristics of renal dysfunction among tribes residing in regions under the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), Utnoor, Telangana.
