The scientific article discusses the main empirical methods that are used in research on the problem of aggression and aggressiveness. The analysis of these methods is carried out. The article distinguishes the definitions of aggression and aggressiveness. In the course of the review of scientific and methodological literature on each empirical method, examples of methods with their description are given. The conclusions are an assessment of the use and diversity of empirical research methods for the psychological diagnosis of aggression and aggressiveness.
