The behavior of liquid infiltrating into a narrow gap was investigated through experiments. Experiments were conducted by changing the gap width and the height at which the liquid was supplied, as well as by using two different supply methods: dripping and spraying. From the experimental data, the behavior of liquid penetration in a narrow gap, the area of penetration, and the speed of penetration were investigated. The following are the results. The drop height affects the liquid penetration behavior. The narrower the gap is, the faster the liquid penetration velocity is, regardless of the drop height. The higher the spray height, the larger the infiltration area. Wind generated by the spraying affects the penetration behavior of the liquid.
