Cognition evolves cyclically through Art, Philosophy, and Science. All three are surprisingly continuous—both historically and in their persistence—yet remain indefinable. A traditionally upside-down view of syntactic success conceals the true foundation. The word “truth” is merely a syntactic “0.” Nevertheless, the truth of syntactic truth has ontological roots, though it tends to abandon them. In pursuit of unreasonably convenient algorithmicity, even the master of cognition is reduced to a spell-checker. Against that spell, a tablet is attached.
