This study reviewed the impact of pilgrimage behavior in Christianity, Catholicism, Islam, Buddhism and other religions and found that pilgrimage behavior has a positive and profound impact on believers’ psychology, contributes to the sustainable operation of the tourism industry and promotes the economic development of religious holy sites
