The article explores the significance of modern educational technologies in developing subject competencies of future vocational education teachers in the field of food technologies. The study analyzes the possibilities of integrating digital tools into the learning process of the disciplines «Sanitation and Hygiene of Catering Establishments» and «Restaurant Management». Particular attention is given to the use of virtual laboratories, interactive case studies, augmented and virtual reality technologies, simulators, and gamification, which enhance learning efficiency and foster the formation of practical skills. The application of modern technologies contributes to the development of analytical thinking, independence, responsibility, and the ability to adapt to digital transformations in the restaurant industry. The findings emphasize that innovative approaches in teaching technical and professional disciplines create favorable conditions for combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience, which is crucial for the professional growth of future educators.
