KDS Dual Civil defines a canon-first calendar-time architecture in which canonical identity is singular, while civil plurality remains lawful, explicit, and strictly non-identity-bearing. This hardened reference edition preserves a single canonical spine, derives multiple civil grammars from that spine, and introduces an optional symmetric Civil-264 profile without restoring plural canonical authority. The architecture is intended for audit-bearing, replay-sensitive, and provenance-visible systems that require stronger guarantees than conventional timestamp-first date handling. This edition strengthens the specification by closing arithmetic and serialization rules, tightening identity and duplicate semantics, formalizing the limits of civil authority, expanding the adversarial and interoperability threat model, and explicitly distinguishing the normative authority of prose, conformance vectors, and the reference verifier.
