Abstract. Cosmetology hygiene is an essential discipline that ensures the safety and well-being of individuals receiving beauty and personal care services. It involves the study of cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control practices within the beauty industry. The methodological foundations of cosmetology hygiene focus on developing standard procedures and protocols to minimize health risks associated with various cosmetic treatments, including skin care, hairdressing, and nail care. This field combines principles of microbiology, dermatology, and public health to establish effective hygiene practices that prevent the transmission of infectious diseases. Key methodologies include the sterilization of tools and equipment, proper handling and disposal of waste, and the implementation of hygienic standards in both professional settings and at home. With the growing demand for cosmetic treatments, adherence to these practices is crucial for maintaining public health, fostering trust in the beauty industry, and ensuring the longevity and effectiveness of cosmetic services. This paper discusses the importance of proper hygiene in cosmetology, presents the fundamental concepts of hygiene management, and highlights the evolving role of cosmetologists in promoting safe and hygienic practices in the industry.
