High-Pitch Multienergy Coronary CT Angiography in Dual-Source Photon-Counting Detector CT Scanner at Low Iodinated Contrast Dose

High-pitch ME PCD-CT mode produced diagnostic quality coronary CTA images at low radiation and iodinated contrast doses. The availability of ME VMIs significantly improved the CNR, overall image quality, and confidence in assessment of luminal stenosis in the presence of calcific plaques and stents, and resulted in change of CAD-RADS categories in 9 patients.
