Transfusion‐related immunomodulation: gamma irradiation alters the effects of leukoreduction on alloimmunization

LR decreased HLA alloantibody production in naïve recipients, but did not reduce the immunosuppressive effects of transfusion. LRγ reduced immunosuppression and was not associated with decreased HLA alloantibody production.
