This exploratory, qualitative study examined postsecondary school services for students with learning disabilities (LD). Nine postsecondary school counselors in Georgia were interviewed using an open-ended, semistructured guide. The taped interviews were analyzed for themes and categories across sites. Each school offered LD services and accommodations; however, the service delivery systems varied in scope. Accommodations included advising students and parents; offering modified testing, tutorial services, special equipment, and note takers; and advocating on behalf of the students. The social work skills of advocacy, skills training, networking, and group facilitation may serve to empower students with LD to succeed in the transition from high school to postsecondary school.
