Association between prognostic nutritional index and mortality risk in patients with community-acquired pneumonia: a retrospective study

Our investigation identified a significant negative association between the PNI and the risk of mortality in patients with CAP. Additionally, the PNI demonstrated superior predictive value for mortality risk in CAP patients when compared to the CURB-65 scoring system.
