Abstract Intravenous administration of iodinated contrast agents (ICAs) is frequently employed for image enhancement while performing radiographic studies such as computed tomography and angiography. Extravasation injury is a rare complication of ICAs. Here, we report an unusual case of acute hand compartment syndrome following extravasation of iohexol in a 50-year-old female due to its rarity.
